This collection is heavily inspired by Japanese culture and the style of patterned women suits, shown below is an autumn/winter look that combines these themes that together create a classy, streetwear style. Shown within the jacket garment are two exaggerated sleeves inspired by the japanese kimono. A Kimono is a traditional Japanese T-shaped garment that is worn on important and eventful days, for example, wedding days, festivals and special occasions. I’ve utilised this sleeve within a small aspect of my garment while also ensuring that it has not been culturally appropriated.
